If you have a vision of a personalised piece of artwork for your home, or a sentimental photo you’d like memorialised in paint for yourself or as a gift for a loved one, you can enlist a professional artist to bring that art to life. Watercolours tend to convey a lighter, airy feeling. They can be a nice, versatile option as a gift or for your home since you can choose a frame yourself that suits your own tastes. I choose to make artwork in common frame sizes so that you can easily go anywhere to pick out a frame to highlight and protect your artwork, but you can also consider bringing your watercolour painting to be professionally matted and framed for a very high quality finished product. These paintings have a 1/2 inch border of unpainted paper.

11 x 14 inches - $275

Acrylic paint is very versatile. I prefer to paint on wood panel, which is less porous than canvas and promotes rich build up of paint in peaks and ridges, which many people love the look of. These paintings are surprisingly light and hang with ease, having well-finished and painted edges that require no additional framing. Some of the smaller sizes can even sit upright on a desk or shelf. For most sizes, panels are 1 inch in thickness.
